| Sheldon Brown Avoids NFL Fine - Friday, November 21, 2008
177 Views :: 2 Comments :: :: Team - Eagles, Brian Seltzer Just received league confirmation that the NFL will not be fining Eagles RCB Sheldon Brown for his hit on Benals' QB Ryan Fitzpatrick during Sunday's overtime period. The contact-which occurred on the first play of Cincinnati's drive that began with1:19 remaining in OT-resulted in a Roughing the Passer penalty on Brown. The foul moved the Bengals from their own 49-yard line to the Eagles' 34, and had their PK Shayne Graham not missed a 47 YD FG four plays later, the call could have proved decisive in a Birds defeat

eagles dont need a change in coach or a change in quaterback...they just need to change their game philosphy......run the ball 1st and pass second....get westbrook and buckhalter involved early and often then start passing later in the game |

Hey Ben- I totally hear where you're coming from as far as running the ball is concerned, but in my opinion, there's only one way the Eagles pass-first philosophy is going to change, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Donovan McNabb... Thanks for the comment, and for checking out the blog. Brian |
